About Us

Hello, lovely people! Today, I want to share the story of how my online gift business, Kawatazza, got its unique name.

As a coffee lover and enthusiast, I knew my business name had to reflect my passion for this magical drink. Coffee has been a constant in my life, and I couldn't imagine creating a business without incorporating it somehow.

However, I also wanted to pay homage to my heritage, which is a mix of African American, Polish, and Italian. I knew I had to come up with something that would encompass all of these aspects, but how?

One day, it hit me like a bolt of caffeine-induced inspiration. Why not name my business "Coffee Cup" in another language? After all, coffee cups are an essential part of enjoying this wonderful drink.

After some research, I discovered that "Kawa" means coffee in Polish, and "Tazza" means cup in Italian. And just like that, KawaTazza was born.

Every time I see the name, it brings a smile to my face. It's unique, personal, and representative of my heritage. The combination of the two languages in the name makes it even more special.

In Polish, "kawa" is pronounced as "KAH-vah". The first syllable is stressed, and the "w" is pronounced like a "v" sound. And in Italian, "tazza" is pronounced as "TAHTS-tsah". Put them together, and you get KawaTazza. It's fun to say, and it always puts a smile on my face.

I hope it does the same for you. Every time you shop with KawaTazza, you're not just buying a gift; you're supporting a business that represents passion, heritage, and a love for coffee.
